He graduated from the Ecole Superieur de Commerce PARIS (option: management-finances) and has spent the whole of his career in the agri-food industry, mostly with his family’s business in the Allier region.
He was sales director for their animal feed activity and created their consumer egg production and packaging activity which was involved in the creation of the Matines Group.
After this he directed the AXEREAL Group animal feed unit for twenty years. It was there that he led about a dozen external growth operations. Drawing on his experience and expertise in business acquisitions, Louis Thivat founded L.P.C. SAS in 2011, specializing in advising and supporting sellers and buyers during business transfers.
He works across all sectors, primarily with very small and small businesses (TPE/PME) located in the Auvergne region and surrounding areas, and throughout France in the agri-food sector.
